in many communities. Almost 50% of the Hutchinson
area working Available Labor Pool (ALP) perceives
themselves as underutilized in their current
employment. |
| In addition, the education level of the
underutilized workers is high, with a substantial
majority having some college education and
almost all having high school diplomas. Most
are willing to change jobs in order to better
utilize their skills and/or education. |
