AIR
Breathe easy in Reno County! Our level
of air purity not only creates a healthy
living space, but also simpler, less
expensive industry requirements.
The entire Reno County area is in attainment
for all federal pollution regulations,
from carbon monoxide to the ozone and
beyond. Statewide, national ambient
air quality standards are also consistently
attained, creating an "environment"
in which air emission quality restrictions
are limited. |
WATER
Water currently covers 459 square miles
of Kansas. In Reno County, water is
readily available and consistently meets
federal quality standards. The statewide
environmental precedent of quality is
also demonstrated through our local
water supply. |

ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATION

Environment (KDHE) monitors environmental
regulations across the state. Located

throughout the state are also available

air, water, waste, and remediation.
The district office located in Wichita
serves both Hutchinson and Reno County,
and can address any questions about
Kansas
environmental regulations.
