LABOR AVAILABILITY

The highly motivated and well-educated workforce is one of many positive factors influencing the continued expansion of the Hutchinson/Reno County economy. Firms locating in the area will find a quality workforce eager to utilize their talents.

In order to validate the region’s actual labor force availability, the Hutchinson/Reno County Economic Development Department commissioned a Labor Availability Analysis by the Docking Institute of Public Affairs. The analysis encompassed portions of seven counties (contiguous to Reno County) in central Kansas -- Reno, Rice, McPherson, Stafford, Harvey, Kingman and portions of NW Sedgwick counties.
